Mary Frances Age 91, of Elmira, NY, passed away Monday, October 23, 2006, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Elmira. Mary Frances was born February 14, 1915 in Springfield Township, PA, daughter of the late William and Jenni (Wigsten) Yerkes. Mary Frances was the owner of Mary Frances Beauty Shop in Elmira for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and aunt. She will be deeply missed by all those that knew her. Survivors include sons, William (Vinelle) Miller of Jacksonville, FL, and Richard (Barbara) Miller of Elmira; grandchildren, Jaime Miller of Elmira, and Benjamin Miller of Jacksonville, FL; niece, Sharon (Bruce) McMail of Bentley Creek, PA; great-nieces, Stacey (Henry) McMail-Jerzak of Wellsburg, NY, and Bobbie (Todd) Simon of Tampa, FL; great-great-nephew, Austin Jerzak of Wellsburg, NY; several other nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Gordon (Shirley) Furman of Chemung, NY, and William (Jean) Miller of Johnson City, TN. Mary Frances was predeceased by her husband, Raymond Miller in 1997. Family and friends are invited to call Friday, October 27, 2006, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the James D. Barrett Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 2 p.m. with Deacon George Welch officiating. Interment will follow in Harkness Cemetery in Springfield, PA.
