NORTHFIELD - Mary Frances Murphy, 86, of Fort Pierce, Fla., passed away on Jan. 6, 2009. Mary was born in Northfield, the daughter of Daniel and Katherine (nee: Gabaree) McCarthy. She retired from AT&T in the early 1980s.Mary is survived by her daughter Cheri LaCourse of Claremont, N.H., four grandchildren, Randy Duffet Jr., Sara Lynn Thibodeau, Tavish Duffett and Seth Duffett; cousins Joan and Sue Blair of Delray Beach, Fla., many nieces and nephews, and her good friend George Abair of Barre.She is predeceased by five siblings.A memorial mass will be celebrated on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, White River Junction.
