Frances Hayes SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mary Frances Crocker Hayes, 79, of 142 Terrace Road, Spartanburg, died Saturday, August 27, 2011, at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center. Born July 23, 1932, in Spartanburg, she was a daughter of the late Charles Clifford and Era Worthy Crocker. She was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her husband, Corbitt Johnny Hayes; two sons, Charles Furman Crocker (Deborah) and Grady S. Crocker (Gail); a daughter, Mary Melissa Crocker (Chris); a sister, Ruth Bagwell; a brother, Miles Crocker, all of Spartanburg; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hayes was predeceased by six sisters, Jeanette Brown, Rosa Lee Lyda, Susie Crosley, Lillie Belle Crocker, Ollie Mae Revels, and Sally O'Neal; and a brother, Horace Crocker. Graveside services will be 10:00 AM on Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens, conducted by the Rev. Douglas Gilliland. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mobile Meals Service, P.O. Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304. The family is at their respective homes.
