Mary Frances Cox, 79, passed away in a local nursing home with her family at her side on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2009. She was born in Covington County, Ala. and was a longtime resident of Crestview.Survivors include her loving husband, John W. Cox, of Crestview; sons, Max Helms of Laurel Hill, Fla., Don Helms of Grand Rapids, Mich., Patrick Helms and Johnnie Cox, both of Crestview, and Lewis Cox of Niceville; daughters, Georgia Ann McLaney of Crestview, and Rebecca McBroom of Sullivan, Ind.; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home with funeral services at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009 in the Crestview Memorial Funeral Home chapel with Rev.
