Obituary of Mary-Frances Carter


Mrs. Mary Frances Carter, 70 of Westville went to her heavenly home on Saturday, January 3, 2015. Born Monday, October 16, 1944 in Westville. She was a loving wife and mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She always loved to be outside working on the farm with her husband. If she was inside the house she would always be cooking a big ole country meal. Everybody that knew of her knew she loved to cook and loved seeing and spending time with her daughters, grandkids and great grandkids.She was preceded in death by her parents Lorenzo Williams and Lovie Taylor Williams; two sons and a daughter, Larry, Michael and Diane Carter.She was survived by her loving husband, Frank Carter of 56 years and her daughters, Debbie Sasser and husband Mike of Westville and Terry Brownell and husband Wayne of Westville; brother, Rickey Williams of Chipley; sisters, Rachel English of Westville, Barbara Spivey of Graceville, Catherine Lee of Gritney and Sue Lankford of Graceville; six grand children, Brandon Sasser and wife Valerie, Brad Sasser and wife Katie, Brian Sasser, Ashley Bishop and husband James, Eric Brownell and fiancé Billie Joe and Brittany Brownell and six great grand children.A Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2015 at Sims Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Chris Carroll and the Rev. Steve Carter officiating. Interment was in Old Mt. Zion Cemetery with Sims Funeral Home directing. The family received friends from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 4, 2015, at Sims Funeral Home Chapel .
