She graduated from Hume Fogg High School, retired from The Metro Police Dept., where she was known as Aunt Bea. Survived by her four children, Jimmy Allen, Linda Smotherman, Wanda Braswell and Johnny Allen; 11 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Louise Helton and brother, James Cuff. She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and friend who will be missed by all. Funeral Mass 10 a.m. Friday, November 6, 2009 at St. Michael Catholic Church, with Father George Chennapallil, Celebrant. Interment Sycamore Chapel Cemetery.
