Born a daughter of the late Cardell Henderson and the late Annie B. Dogan Henderson and wife of the late George Allen, she was s retiree from Kemet Electronics. She is survived by one daughter, Lorraine Henderson of the home; one brother, Clarence Henderson of Simpsonville, SC; and three sisters, Arletha Shorter of Greenville, SC, Ruth Brown of Columbia, SC and Betty Cox of Taylors, SC. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2015, at The Rock of Ages Baptist Church with Rev. Terry King and Rev. Ritchie Stoddard officiating. Burial will be in the Greenville Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday, February 6, 2015, from 6 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. at the Beasley Funeral Home, Greenville. The family is at the home.
