She was a native of Murfreesboro, TN and the daughter of the late Charles T. McNabb and Tommie Haynes McNabb. She was a graduate of Murfreesboro High School and attended Middle Tennessee State College. She was married for 63 years to the late Julian Hooper, also of Murfreesboro. She lived for many years in Nashville as well as Lubbock, Texas. She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church. She is survived by her son, Dr. David C. Hooper and daughter-in-law, Sally North Hooper of Wellesley, MA and two granddaughters, Brook Wallace of San Jose, CA and Allison Hooper of Cardiff, Wales. Graveside services will be private at Woodlawn Memorial Park. A memorial service will be held at Westminster Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, December 1st at 1 p.m. with Rev. Carson Salyer officiating. The family will receive guests after the service. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society or a charity of one's choice.
