Mary Evelyn Blanton Peterson, 72, widow of David Eugene Peterson, of 101 Morgan St., died Monday, Feb. 12, 2001. Survivors: Sons, Roger Peterson and David Ronnie Peterson; a daughter, Patricia Ann Rector; a stepson, Bobby J. Peterson; stepdaughters, Louise Hutchinson, Viola P. Presswell, and Mildred Dixon; a sister, Margie Pearson; five grandchildren; a great-grandchildren; and eight stepgrandchildren. Visitation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. tonight at Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home.
