KLEIN-Mary Eve Klein (nee Schroeder), passed away on November 23, 2006, at the age of 92 years, exactly 18 years after her husband's death. Mary was predeceased by her parents, John and Mary Schroeder, her husband Jack on November 23, 1988, a brother Aloysius Schroeder in 1986, a sister Daisy Massine in 2005, and a brother-in-law Michael Massine in 1999. Mary is survived by two daughters: Joyce (Leonard) Schuett of Regina and Carol (Don) Horsman of Fort Qu'Appelle; eight grandchildren: Michael (Camilla) Schuett of California, Joan (Dean) Barton of Regina, Joe (Jennifer) Schuett of Ottawa, Sandra (David) Briltz of Regina, Laura (Derek) Jorgenson of Saskatoon, David (Allanna) Horsman of Yorkton, Geoffrey (Becky) Horsman of Vancouver, and Jonathan Horsman (Christine Stewart) of Medicine Hat; twelve great grandchildren: Joshua Schuett of California, Jimmy and Emily Barton of Regina, Mark, Peter and Krista Schuett of Ottawa, Rhett and Mitch Briltz of Regina, Benjamin and Will Jorgenson of Saskatoon, Jesse and Kylee Horsman of Yorkton; and two step great grandchildren: Sarah Koo of Toronto and Michael Rogers of Regina. Also surviving Mary are four brothers: Joseph (Ruth) Schroeder of Regina, Daniel (Elizabeth) Schroeder, John (Shirley) Schroeder and Fred (Beulah) Schroeder all of Chamberlain; a sister-in-law Cecilia Schroeder of Craik and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mary was born April 21, 1914 in Chamberlain where she grew up. She married Jack Klein in 1933 and they moved to Penzance. In 1942, they moved to Craik where they farmed and retired. Mary lived in Craik until 2003 when she moved to Extendicare in Moose Jaw. Special thanks to all those who cared for Mary during her stay in Extendicare. Also, special thanks to Elaine Spencer and Maureen Nielson who spent much time with Mary while she resided in the Manor in Craik. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 27, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Craik with Father Neil Osiowy as Presiding Celebrant. Burial will follow the Mass in Craik Cemetery. In memory of Mary, donations may be forwarded to Osteoporosis Canada Regina Chapter, 414B Victoria Ave., Regina, SK S4N 0P6 or the Heart and Stroke Foundation, P.O. Box 1503, Saskatoon, SK S7K 3R3.
