Obituary of Mary-Etter Moore


OKEECHOBEE - Mary Etter Moore, 70, of Okeechobee died Thursday, August 12, 2010, in Treasure Coast Hospice, Ft. Pierce. She was born June 6, 1940, to WT Hall and Helen Louise Gray Hall in Tallahassee. She was a Cosmetologist by trade and was an active member of the Oakview Baptist Church where she enjoyed serving God. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Jackson (William); son, Terry Allen Moore, Jr. (Kelli); grandchildren, Marcus Greer, Edward Chance, Devin Moore, Parker Moore, and Morgan Moore. In addition she is survived by a sister, Martha Dalton (James). Pre-deceased by her husband, Terry Allen Moore; and granddaughter Brandi Renee Greer. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 20, 2010, from 6:30 to 9 p.m. in the Buxton Funeral Home Chapel, 110 NE 5th St. Services will be held on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. in the Oakview Baptist Church with Pastor Ron McCaskill and Pastor John Garrison officiating. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Treasure Coast Hospice, 1201 SE Indian St., Stuart, FL or Oakview Baptist Church, 677 SW 32nd St., Okeechobee, FL 34974.
