Mary Ethel O'Brien 1920 - 2006 Mary O'Brien, of Broadway St. and formerly of Curry St., Moncton, passed away at The Moncton Hospital on Sunday, June 25, 2006 at the age of 86 years. Born in Amherst, NS on January 25, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Clara (Marks) Hughes. She was a retired employee of Fine's Ladies Wear after 20 years of service. Survived by her brother, Patrick (Muriel) Hughes of Moncton; nieces, Lana (Fred) Northrup of Boundry Creek and Beverly (Brian) Alcorn of Lakeville; nephew, Larry (Arline) Hughes of Moncton. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Gurney O'Brien in 1999; son, Norman O'Brien; and brother, Ernest Hughes. A graveside service will be held at Lakeside Cemetery on Wednesday, June 28, 2006 at 3:30 pm with Rev. Gayle MacDonald officiating.
