Obituary of Mary-Estelle-Logue Pittman


Retired School Bus Driver GIBSON, Ga. - Mrs. Mary Estelle Logue Pittman, 57, of Calhoun St., entered into rest October 26, 2004 at Medical Center of Central Georgia, Macon. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Gibson First Baptist Church with the Rev. Bill Seaman and Rev. Mike Cook officiating. Interment will follow in the Gibson City Cemetery. Mrs. Pittman was a native of Glascock County, a life long member of the Gibson First Baptist Church, she was retired from School bus driving after 16 1/2 years of service. She also worked at the Gibson Post Office serving as the Post Master Relief for 16 years. She is survived by her loving husband of 39 years, Mr. Warren Pittman; two daughters, Wanda Pittman and Shelli Akers, both of Gibson; one son, Robert Warren Pittman Jr. of Calhoun, Ga.; one sister, Joann Powell of Grovetown; three grandchildren, Kristian Akers, Cole Casper and Destiny Kitchens. Pallbearers are James Brantley, Virlon Downs, St eve Davis, Wayne Williford, Brinson Logue, Charles Logue and Mr. Ralph Hadden. The family will receive friends at the residence.
