Mrs. Mary Ernestine Adams - SAVANNAH -Mrs. Mary Ernestine Adams, 87, died on Thursday, August 16, 2007 at St. Joseph's Hospital. Mrs. Adams was born in Birmingham, AL and had lived in Chatham County for a number of years. She worked for a number of years in the office at Adams Boat Shop and was a member of First Assembly of God Church. She was currently attending the Southside Assembly of God Church. Survivors include her children, Alan and Arlene Adams of Savannah, Alice Deanna Hartley of Ludowici, Betty Carol and Billy Swinson of Pooler, Janice Adams of Savannah and Thomas Gerald and Desire Adams of Richmond Hill; fifteen grandchildren, eighteen great- grandchildren and three great- great-grandchildren; sister, Melba Moore of Savannah; brother, Vernon Nelson of Savannah and several nieces and nephews. Visitation: 7-9 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Graveside Funeral: 12 noon on Saturday at Hillcrest Abbey East Cemetery on Wheaton Street in Savannah.
