Oxford - Mary Ellen Wade went home to live with Jesus on Tuesday, June 7, 2011, at the age of 92. She was a longtime resident of Alexandria and for the last eight years she was a resident of Golden Living Center in Oxford. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Edwina Green; grandson, Phillip Green and his wife, Lillian; granddaughter, Vickie Prewett and her husband, Billy; grandchildren, Justin Green, Jacob Green and Stacy Green. Waiting for her in Heaven are her husband, Lonnie Wade; son, Jeff Wade; her parents and all of her brothers and sisters. Viewing will be from noon until 2 p.m. Friday, June 10, 2011, at Miller Funeral Home in Oxford, with the funeral service immediately following. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Phillip Green, Billy Prewett, Justin Green, Jacob Green, Wayne Greene and Jimmy Smith.
