White: Mary Ellen (Ellen) June 28, 1910 - December 20, 2003 Mary Ellen White (Ellen) was born on June 28, 1910 and died December 20, 2003 at the Continuing Care Facility in Drumheller, AB. It is with great sadness the family announce the passing of Ellen White. Ellen leaves to mourn her three children, Clifford (Edna) White of Edmonton, Bob (Donna) White of Calgary, AB, and Elaine (Egon) Friedrich of Yahk, B.C.; nine grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren. Ellen was predeceased by her husband, Charlie White in 1976; her oldest son Melville White in 1993; grandson Larry White in 1989; and her four brothers, Charlie, Jim, Bill, Chester; and one sister, Winnie. Ellen and Charlie homesteaded in the Rowley area for 34 years retiring to Morrin in 1963. Ellen then moved to the Continuing Care Facility in Drumheller in 2002. The funeral service was held in Morrin, Alberta on December 23, 2003 at 1 p.m. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to the Morrin United Church or the charity of your choice.
