Homemaker AUGUSTA, Ga. - Entered into rest April 18, 2007 at her residence, Mrs. Mary E. (Chavous) Powell, 94, wife of the late Mr. Bunyan Powell. Graveside services will be held Monday, April 23, 2007 at 11 a.m. at Westover Memorial Park with Chaplain Paul Richardson officiating. Family and friends will assemble at the grave. Mrs. Powell was born in Augusta. She was a member of Barton Baptist Church and a homemaker. Survivors include: a son, William D. Powell, Augusta; a daughter, Shirley Maddox, Augusta; six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
