Mary Ellen (Bost) Connolly, 86, Wilkinsburg, Pa., and formerly of Nokomis, died April 29, 2004. She was a founding member of the Friendly Sons and Daughters of St. Patrick and a member of the Spanish Lakes Mobile Home Association. She was a Hospice volunteer and a member of Epiphany Cathedral. Survivors include her children Donna L. Cervini of Chicago, JoAnne E. Halle and Faith M. Katchmar, both of Pittsburgh, Mary C. Silbaugh of Bradenton, James P. Connolly of Los Angeles, Carol T. Ostrander of Venice and Nancy A. Makela of Port Charlotte; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. The service was in Wilkinsburg with Thomas Reid Funeral Home in charge.
