NEW SALISBURY - Carpenter, Mary Ellen, 88, died Tuesday, February 26, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband, Guy Wesley Carpenter. Survivors include her daughter, Rhonda Ann Day; her grandson, Jeremy Lee Day (Rose); two great-grandchildren, Wesley David and Wyatt Case Day; and her sister, Kay Ament. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. on Wednesday and after 9 a.m. on Thursday. The family requests that expressions of sympathy be made to Hosparus of Louisville.
