Obituary of Mary-Ellen Carter

CARTER, Mary-EllenPeacefully passed away at Verdun Hospital on January 23, 2014 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Robert Burns. Cherished mother of Cindy, the late Bob (Monique) and Ian (Linda). She will be sadly missed by her six grandchildren, Elyse (Brent), Nick (Martina), Keely (Chris), Sarah, Lauren and Lindsey. Visitation will take place at Laurent Theriault funeral home, 512 De l'Eglise Av., Verdun, 514-769-3867 on Sunday, January 26, 2014 from 2pm to 5pm and on Monday January 27, 2014 from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm. Chapel service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 28, 2014 at 10:30am followed by Mount-Royal cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation will be greatly appreciated.
