Funeral services will be 11AM, Sat., March 23 at Flipper Chapel A.M.E. Church. Wake service will be Fri., March 22 from 7-8PM at Strong & Jones Chapel. She was a member of Flipper Chapel A.M.E. Church and graduated from the Old Lincoln High School.She was a faithful, licensed beautician in the Bond Community for more than 50 years. Survivors include her children she raised as a single parent, Cora Louise Brown Griffin, Minister Nettie Walker Palmore (Solomon), William Walker, Jr., Carolyn Walker, Tawanna A. Sikes, Michael Walker, Cathy Walker, Henry Walker (Alicia); one brother, James Henry Brown (Alma), two sisters, Barbara Johnson (Marion), Sylvia Beckwith, two aunts, Dorothy Parker and Minnie T. Humphrey.A special devoted friend, Elizabeth White, six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren; her husband, William Walker, Sr. and a host nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Cora Brown and two brothers, Frank and Johnny Lee Brown.
