BUSTON, Mary Elizabeth "Betty" (nee White) Peacefully, in hospital, Ottawa on Tuesday, July 19, 2005. Wife of the late Harry Thomas Buston. Beloved mother of Barbara Wheelock, David (Wendy Northrup), Robert (Lorraine) and Paul. Cherished grandmother of Sarah, Marina and Audrey and Robert, Nicole and Kevin, Amber Venator and children Diana and Brooke. Betty was born in Chatham, Ontario and attended "The Pines" Ursuline Convent. With her husband Harry, who served with the RCAF, she travelled across Canada and Europe and her loving lessons on history, art and culture will live forever in the hearts of her children. She will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family and friends for the enthusiasm she brought to everything she did, especially her compassion and dedication in caring for and helping place homeless and mistreated animals. At her request, there will be no funeral service. A memorial service and interment of ashes will take place on Friday, July 22 at 10 a.m. at the Pinecrest Memorial Chapel, 2500 Baseline Road.
