Athens - Mary Elizabeth Johns Phillips, 87, of Athens, died Monday, April 7, 2008.A native of Trinidad, CO, Mrs. Phillips was the daughter of the late Thomas and Sarah Burns Johns. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, George, Bill, and Norman Johns. Survivors include her husband, Earl Phillips of Athens; daughter, Tracey Rene'e Massey and her husband, Von of Athens; son, Kenneth Earl Phillips and his wife, Sherri of Culpepper, VA and granddaughter, Mary Frances Massey of Athens.A memorial service will be held Sunday, April 13 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Bernstein Funeral Home with Rev.
