->Murray, Mary ElizabethMary Elizabeth (Betty) Murray of White Plains, New York died at home peacefully on Wednesday, October 19, 2011. Betty was born in Philadelphia, PA on December 13, 1923 to George and Ruth Knipe. She married John Monahan Murray and they had six children and lived in Rye, NY where both John and Betty were actively involved in the community. Betty was a member of the Women's Club and the 22nd Twig of United Hospital. She loved to paint, sing, dance, entertain and be involved in her community; but above all she loved her family and was a wonderful wife and mother. She is predeceased by her husband John on August 12, 2011 and one son, Vincent P. Murray. She is survived by her children Geoffrey Murray, Andrew Murray, Lawrence Murray, Patricia Murray and Paula. She is also survived by six grandchildren.A wake will be held at Graham's Funeral Home on Sunday October 23, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at The Church of the Resurrection in Rye, NY on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 10 AM.
