MURPHY, Mary Elizabeth, 76, of Hudson, died Friday, September 2, 2005, at Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point in Hudson. She was born in South Weymouth, Mass., and came to Florida 20 years ago from Milton, Mass., and recently resided in Venice, Fla. She worked for the Department of Public Health in Massachusetts as a registered nurse. She was a member of Beacon Woods Golf Club and St. Michael's Catholic Church. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Murphy of Hudson; son, Kevin Thomas Murphy of Kingston, Mass.; daughters, Maureen Murphy Mahoney of East Waymouth, Mass., and Ann Murphy of Terre Haute, Ind.; five brothers, Robert White of Charleston, R.I., John White of Holbrook, Mass., Donald White of Holbrook, William White of Plymouth, Mass., and George White of Dennisport, Mass.; two sisters, Marilyn Barry of Lakeville, Mass., and Pauline Boczynowski of Norwell, Mass.; and two grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Harland White Jr. Prevatt Funeral Home in Hudson is in charge of arrangements.
