Seminole Mill retiree LANGLEY, S.C.- Entered into rest on Friday, September 3, 2004, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth McCarson 'Granny' Jennings of Barrett Street, Langley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Johnnie Byron Jennings, Sr.; a grandson, Bobby Joe Freeman and a son-in-law, Mr. Haskell Lowe. Survivors are two sons and their wives, Walter and Mary Smith, and Johnnie and Janis Jennings, Jr.; eight daughters and their husbands, Lucille Lowe, Betty Jo and Bobby Freeman, Reba and Billy Freeman, Beverly and Jesse Canaday, Martha and Richard Murray, Sue and W.L. Barden, Patsy and Ray Benton and Rosemary and Larry Holley; three brothers, Sherman McCarson, Fred McCarson, and C.H. McCarson; a caretaker, Doris Clark; 21 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren and six great- great grandchildren. Funeral services will be on Sunday at 2 p.m., at Gloverville First Baptist Church with Revs. Alan Tillman and Hayward Horton officiating. Mrs. Jennings wil l be placed in the church on Sunday at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens.
