Mary Elizabeth Hughes, 94, Venice, died Oct. 31, 2002. She was born June 26, 1908, in Belsano, Pa., and came to Venice in 1971 from Ebensburg, Pa. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace United Methodist Church in Venice. She was a former member of the Congregational Church and a member of the Order of Eastern Star Lodge 303, both in Ebensburg. Survivors include her daughter, Norma J. McClincy of Fort Mill, S.C.; six grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. Services will be in Ebensburg. Farley Funeral Home, Venice Chapel, is in charge.
