HICKS - Mary Elizabeth "Betty" 80, on September 29,2004 of Ramsey, NJ. Beloved sister of Leah Morrison of Jackson,NJ., Bernice Caffrey of Whiting,NJ., George B. Hicks of Ramsey,NJ and pre deceased by her late brothers Walter and Jack. Adored Godmother of Deborah Bower. Also survived by nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great-grand nieces and nephews. Betty was a member of the Ramsey Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary, a member of the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, she also served on the braille and bulletin committee and worked at the voting polls. She was an Executive Secretary for Hoffman La Roche in Nutley where she retired, after many years. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the Van Emburgh-Sneider Funeral Home, 109 Darlington Ave, Ramsey. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday October 4, 2004 at 11 AM at the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, 55 Wyckoff Ave in Ramsey, with the Rev. Dr. Carol Brighton officiating.
