She worked in the culinary department at the former Lincoln Institute.Her husband of 53 years, Willie Odell Hall, and one daughter, Tina Rochelle Hall, preceded her in death.Survivors include eleven children, Melvin Hall, Sr. (Deloris), Barbara Trowell (Leon), Marvin Thomas Hall, Carolyn Hudson (Wilbert), Dorethea Richmond (Charles), Mary Lynn Floyd (Harry), Jacquelyn Hall, Darnell Hall, Teresa Kaye Hall-Cater (Terrell), Jeffery Hall and Paul Douglas Hall (Angela); two sisters, Gladys Wright and Billie Trowell (Alfonso); two brothers, Tommie Martin and Joseph Martin (Grinda); 30 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.Funeral services 11 a.m., Monday, July 28, 2014 at her church, Taylortown AME Zion Church, 10901 Ballardsville Rd., Louisville. Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Sunday at Clay Street Baptist Church, 1940 Midland Trail, Shelbyville.
