DAVIS, MARY ELIZABETH, the former Mary E. Layman, 88, of Crestwood, died Thursday, December 23, 2010 at her residence. She was a native of Grayson County and a retired bookkeeper for Spalding Laundry. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Davis. She is survived by her stepdaughters, Shirley Smith and Elaine Logsdon (Bill); four stepgrandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Monday from 2-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9-11 a.m. at Stoess Funeral Home, Crestwood. Funeral will be Tuesday at 11 a.m., with interment in Resthaven Cemetery.
