INGRAM, Mary Elizabeth Conant, born September 3, 1927, died peacefully Tuesday, November 23, 2004, after years of decline to Alzheimer's disease. Raised in Lakeland, Fla., she was an elementary school teacher in Coral Gables. Liz came to Tampa in 1966 upon her marriage to the late Dr. James Ingram, and was an active member of the Chiseler's, the Alter Guild at St. John's Episcopal Church and Kappa Delta Sorority, having been the founding chapter president at the University of Florida. She is survived by stepchildren, Leighton Ingram, Ann Ingram-Miller and Michael Ingram; grandchildren, Leighton Shepard Ingram, Christina Daniels, Summer Miller, Clinton Miller, Katherine Ingram and Mary Ingram; and a great-granddaughter, Hunter Elizabeth Ingram of Naples. A memorial service will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday, November 27, 2004, at St. John's Episcopal Church, 902 South Orleans Ave., Tampa. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests a contribution in her name to The Chiseler's Inc. or a charitable or ganization of the donor's choice.
