BROWN, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth (Moosie), a resident of Montgomery, AL, expired Wednesday, April 11, 2001. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 18, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. from the New Home Missionary Baptist Church, with the Rev. Antonio Forbes, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the Kindle Cemetery. With Lee's Funeral Home Directing. She leaves behind to mourn and forever cherish her memories, a devoted husband of 53 years, Jimmie Lee Brown, Sr.; four daughters, Faye (James) Washington, Patricia Ann (Lester) Flynn, Teresa Brown and LaMetrice 'Fruity' Brown, all of Montgomery, AL; five sons, Edward Brown, Gregory Brown, Jeffrey Brown, Cedric Brown and Stanley Brown, all of Montgomery, AL; one stepson, Jimmie Lee Brown, Jr., of New York; two stepdaughters, Jackie and Sandra Lee Brown, both of New York; two sisters, Hattie (Anthony) Underwood and Jettie Ware, both of Springfield, Mass.; one brother, Q.V. Bowman of Ohio; three brother-in-laws, Curtis (Patricia) Drayton, Willie (Pauline) Brown and Isaiah (Margaret) Brown; four sister-in-laws, Mildred (Fred) Raign, Annie Laura Luster, Mary Pegus and Carrie Alford; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; six aunts; one devoted niece, Earnestine Jackson of Montgomery, AL; one devoted cousin, Herbert Lewis of New York; devoted friends, Dot Adams, Lucille Pinkard, Annie Gamble, Betty White, Henry Foster, Margaret Humphrey, Ethel Perkins and Jessie Gray and a host of other relatives and friends.
