ROSE _ Mary Eleanor born September 5, 1915 in Port Coquitlam, passed away in Surrey Memorial Hospital June 24, 2006 at the age of 90 years. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband Herbert, sister Sarah, brother Samuel and grandson Brian. Mary is lovingly remembered by her family; son Bill (Marilyn) Rose, daughters, Ellen (Carl) Malott, Margaret (Darryl) Lillies, grandchildren, Mary-Anne (Rick), Al (Barbara), Janet (Ed), Audra (Chris) and Dan (Tanya), great-grandchildren, Dana, Eric, Brittany, Cecelia, Natasha, Alexandria, Darian, Zachary, Amber, Kirstin, Brianna and Kiana. Mary is also remembered by her brothers Francis (Thelma) and George, sister-in-law Elaine, brother-in-law Eugene as well as other family members and friends. Many thanks to Dr. David Anderson who was always compassionate, loving and understanding with Mary; also thanks to the Kinsmen Place Lodge staff for the love, help, patience and support that they gave Mary in the last 10 years. Also the staff at SMH was always very kind during her many visits in these last few months. Funeral Service will be held on Friday, June 30 at 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Valley View Funeral Horne, 14660 - 72 Ave., Surrey. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.
