MARY E. Hallstead, Pa.Mary E. Kunsman Tuttle, 72, TUTTLE of Hallstead, Pa., passed away, Saturday, March 10, 2001, at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City, N.Y. Harold E. Tuttle, her husband of 50 years, survives. Also surviving is a daughter, Rosemary Hazen; a son, Richard Tuttle; a brother and three sisters and their spouses, Harry and Anna Mae Kunsman, Clara Dearborn, Florence Sparky and Walter Bud Burton, Evelyn and Walter Woolbaugh, and Bonnie Kunsman; a sister-in-law, Thelma Yeisley, a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Charles and Olga Tuttle, two step great grandchildren, Sonya Frost and Brittany Roma; and several nieces and nephews. Mary was predeceased by a sister, Jane Florance, a brother, Raymond Kunsman, and by a son-in-law, Murl Hazen, Jr. Mary and her husband owned and operated the Harold E. Tuttle Funeral Home for 40 years until their retirement in 1992. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Hallstead where she served as an Elder, was on the Deacon Care committee and was a choir member for several years. She was a member of the Hallstead-Great Bend Civic Club and of the Project Sunshine Committee. She was a former member and Past President of the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 357. She also enjoyed genealogy, crafts, reading, and her summers at Tingley Lake. A funeral and committal service will be held at Tuttle-Yeisley Funeral Home, Hallstead, Pa., Wednesday, March 14, 2001, at 11 a.m. with the Reverend John H. Dabback. officiating. Interment will be in Rose Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
