->April 24, 2006, of West Seneca, NY, formerly of Choate Ave., beloved wife of the late James E. 'Spike' Shanahan; loving mother of Patricia (late Paul) Shanahan-McNamara, Anne (late Walter) Shanahan-Lopus, James (Suzanne), Maureen (Paul) Barlow, Terrence (Joan) and Michael (Maureen) Shanahan; sister of Elizabeth Prior and the late Margaret Lavelle, Catherine Biddlecome and John Sullivan; also survived by 16 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. The family will be present to receive friends Wednesday 7-9 and Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 at the JAMES W. CANNAN FUNERAL HOME, INC., (Southtowns Chapel), 3155 Orchard Park Rd., where funeral will be held Friday morning at 8:30, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the Church of the Holy Family at 9:30. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery.
