March 17, 2005 Mary E. Morrissey, 75, of N. Syracuse, died March 17, 2005. Born in Liverpool she was a resident of N. Syracuse for 54 years. A graduate of Goodyear Burlingame and Stephens College, Columbia, MO, she was formerly employed at Guig-nard Florist and Phoebe's Garden Cafe. Mary was an avid gardener. She also taught china painting and was a longtime member of the Liverpool Ladies 18 Hole Golf League. A lover of nature and people, she made friends wherever she went, especially children and animals. She is survived by her husband, James H. Morrissey; three sons, James J. (Gail) of Houston, TX; Mark (Connie) of Bloomfield, NJ; and Michael (Sabrina) Morrissey of N. Syracuse; three daughters, Melissa Scherzi of Liverpool, Amy Rohde of Syracuse, Christine (Tom) Chudyk of Centennial, Co; a sister, Holly Burns Rhodes of Carson City, NV; an aunt, Lola Wilcox; seven grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and other relatives and many, many friends. Calling hours will be Monday, March 21, 2005, from 4 to 6:30 p.m., with a service to follow at the Maurer Funeral Home Moyers Corners, 3541 Route 31, Baldwinsville.
