Mary Edna Mitchell, 84, Russellville, Ala., died Friday, Jan. 29, 2010.She was a retired cosmetologist and a member of Washington Avenue Church of Christ.Visitation will be 5-8 p.m. Monday at Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010, at the funeral home, with Ed Bragwell officiating. Burial will follow in Franklin Memory Gardens.Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death be her husband of 63 years, Byron M. Mitchell.Survivors include son, Harold E. Mitchell and wife, Barbara, Russellville; daughter, Linda Hovater and husband, Donald, Russellville; brother, Warren Grasham and wife, Sarah, Chattanooga, Tenn; sisters-in-law, Juanita Grasham, Muscle Shoals, and Vickie Mitchell, Tuscumbia; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; six step-great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be grandsons.Pinkard Funeral Home, Russellville, will be directing.
