Obituary of Mary E. Keefe


Mary E. (Murphy) Keefe of Hull, passed away May 31, 2012 at her home in Hull. She was 92 years old. Born in Boston, Mary had lived in West Roxbury before moving to Hull 30 years ago. Daughter of the late Edward and Anna Murphy. Beloved wife of the late Paul W. Keefe. Sister of the late Lucille Robishaw-Cavanaugh, Edward Murphy and Daniel Murphy. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Mary was a retired accountant for the former Baltimore Brush Co. in Brockton. She was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Hull. Mary enjoyed needlepoint, crocheting, knitting and shared her skills with her family. Mary and her late husband Paul W. also enjoyed traveling around the world. Funeral from the McDonald Funeral Home, South Weymouth at 809 Main St., (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hosp.), Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 11 a.m. in St. Marys Parish in St. Anns Church, Hull. Visitation prior to Mass 9:30-10:30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull. Donations in Mary's memory may be made to Firefighters Local #718 AFL-CIO Death Benefit & Welfare Fund, c/o Treasurer Neil Mullane, 55 Hallet St., Dorchestor, MA. 02122.
