Obituary of Mary-E. Crosson


Oxford - Funeral services for Mrs. Mary E. Crosson, 88, of Oxford, will be at 11 a.m. today, May 5, 2012, in the chapel of Miller Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Starling and Dr. George Smitherman officiating. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Crosson died Thursday, May 2, 2012. Survivors include her daughters, Diane and husband, Dr. George Smitherman, Denise and husband, Carrall East Jr., Pam and husband, Mark Ingram; grandchildren, Yvonne Lehr, Kim Kennedy, Chad East, Chris East, Monica Moses, Matthew Ingram, Perri Katherine Ingram, Jean Reigner, Jo Connell, John Crosson, Crystal Crosson; fourteen great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Joel Lehr, Chad East, Chris East, Eric Moses, Matthew Ingram, Noah Kennedy, Coby Adams. Honorary pallbearers will be Scotty Craft, Landon Winfrey. Mrs. Crosson was a long time member of Lakeview Baptist Church and retired from the Anniston Army Depot after 30 years of service. She was preceded in death by her husband, Claude L. Crosson; a son, Larry Wayne Crosson and grandson, Larry Wayne Crosson Jr. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Lakeview Baptist Church building fund or to the United Fellowship Baptist Church building fund.
