COX, Mary E., 92, of Tampa ,died Sunday, August 13, 2006, in Knoxville, Tenn. A native of Seneca, S.C., she moved to Tampa in 1956 from Anderson, S.C. She will always be remembered as a strong, Christian lady. She is survived by her two sons, Winifred Junior Cox and wife, Nell, of Tampa and Marvin Eugene Cox and wife, Mary, of Houston, Texas; daughter, Cheryl Hall, and husband, Mike, of Sevierville, Tenn; and brother, Hicks Mauldin of Greer, S.C. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, 27 great-great-grandchildren and 28 great-great-great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday, August 18, 2006, at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4207 E. Lake Ave, Tampa, Fla. Funeral services will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 19, 2006, at Forest Hills Christian Church, 10902 N. Armenia Ave., Tampa, FL, 33612. Interment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
