September 30, 2003 Mary E. (Fahey) Casey, 94, formerly of Lakeland, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 30. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Mary retired from General Electric in 1974 after 30 years of service. She was a communicant of OurLady Of Peace Church while residing in Lakeland. Mary was an avid bowler in local leagues for many years. She also enjoyed traveling, tennis, cards, reading, knitting, sewing and horse racing, for which she did her own handicapping. She is survived by two children; Mary Dwyer of Solvay, and Robert Casey and his wife Stephanie of Nashville, Tenn., seven grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Francis in 1986, and two brothers; William and John (Jack) Fahey. Services will be Friday at 9 a.m at the Edward J. Ryan & Son Funeral Home, 1628 W. Genesee St. Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Edward J. Ryan & Son Inc.
