Mary E. Barnes, 84, of Louisville, died Monday, February 16, 2004, at Norton Audubon Hospital. She was the former Mary E. Geraghty, a native of Louisville, a homemaker and a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Joseph Barnes Sr. She is survived by her grandchildren, Robyn Barnes Roberts and her husband, Don, Chuck Barnes and his wife, Giovanna, and Eric Barnes and his wife, Melissa; great-grand-children, Lauren and Megan Roberts, Alexander Barnes and C.J., Katie and Gianni Barnes; a sister, Doris Geraghty; a daughter-in-law, Lois Barnes; and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2004, at St. Stephen Martyr Catholic Church, 2931 Pindell Ave. Burial will be at a later date. Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday at the back of church. Arrangements by Highlands Family-Owned Funeral Home, 3331 Taylorsville Rd.
