Mary E. Adams, a lifelong resident of Mt. Kisco, NY died June 23, 2001. She was 92 years old. Born on January 14, 1909 to Ignazio and Ignazia Cognatta in Mt. Kisco. Mary worked for the New York Telephone Company as a telephone operator before becoming a homemaker. On February 1, 1931 she married her loving husband, Daniel J. Adams in Mt. Kisco. He died in 1987. Mary was a parishioner of St. Francis of Assisi Church, a long time volunteer at Northern Westchester Hospital. Beloved wife to the late Daniel J. Adams. Loving mother to the late John D. Adams. Fond sister to Katherine Adams. Cherished grandmother to 4, great-grandmother to 4. Predeceased by 1 brother and 1 sister.
