Obituary of Mary-Doris Stover


NORTHPORT Mary Doris Stover, age 82, of Northport, died Dec. 28, 2008, at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Kip McKee and Rev. Joe Fowler officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens with Memory Chapel Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider, directing. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.She was preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Loreta Walker, her brother, Billy Walker, and her sister, Margaret Ann Burnett.Survivors include her wonderful husband and caregiver, James Roland Stover; her daughter, Judy Williamson (Joe) of Atlanta, Ga.; her son, Roger Tillman (Wanda) of Talladega; her brother, Jim Walker (Regina) of Birmingham; her grandchildren, Gina McKee (Kip), Tracy Bailey (Danny), Allen Tillman, Jason Tillman, and Chris Tillman; and her great grandchildren, Lauren, Katlin, Rob, Caroline, Kirk, Chloe, Hillary, and Blake.Pallbearers will be Allen Tillman, Chris Tillman, Danny Bailey, James Walker, Mike Burnett, David Burnett, George Walker, and Don Walker.Honorary pallbearers are Dr. W. Keith Debell, Dr. Debbie Davis (Mrs. Davis), Dr. Gary Newsome, 4-South and MICU at DCH, Hospice of West Alabama, Mr. and Mrs. Robert McKee, and the friends and neighbors of Harper Subdivision.
