MCASKILL, Mary (nee De La Fosse) June 6, 1915 – April 15, 2015 Passed away peacefully on April 15, 2015 at the age of 99 years. Beloved wife of the late Hugh McAskill and loving mother of the late Gillian MacAskill (John) and Ian McAskill (Tina). She was adored and will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Amanda (Darren) and Lisa (Victor) and great- grandmother of Brianna, Hailey, Alexis and Zackary. Predeceased by her sister Freda and brother Bart and will be sadly missed by her brother Walter. She was a very special person and will be missed by all her friends and extended family. The family wishes to extend its sincere thanks to all the staff at the West Island Palliative Care Residence for their sensitive and reassuring attention which was greatly appreciated and will never be forgotten. The family will receive condolences from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., which will be followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 24, 2015 at Paroisse Saint-Joachim Church, 2 rue St. Anne, Pointe-Claire, Quebec.
