Mary Davis of Johnson City Mary Davis, 94, of Johnson City, N.Y., went to be with her angels Monday afternoon, November 3, 2008, at Elizabeth Church Manor. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Davis. She is survived by one brother, Michael Evanick, Binghamton; also several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, Thomas Garruto, Binghamton. She was a member of the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Johnson City. She was a retired employee of Columbia Mutual Life Insurance Company, Binghamton. A Funeral Mass will be offered at the Church of the Blessed Sacrament, Johnson City, on Friday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Johnson City. At Mary's request, there will be no calling hours. Those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Humane Society, 2 Jackson St., Binghamton, N.Y. 13903 in Mary Davis' memory.
