WALCHUK, Mary (nee Doyle) - In loving memory of Mary Walchuk (nee Doyle), 88 years, who passed away at Extendicare York in Sudbury on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007. Beloved wife of John Walchuk of Sudbury. Loving mother of Wayne (Elaine) of Oshawa, Patrick (Mary-Rose) of Ottawa and Patricia Thompson (Andre) of Ottawa. Cherished grandmother of Erik and Leah. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Martha, her two brothers Leo and John and by her sister Julia. Mary was born in Gull Island, Newfoundland on July 8th, 1918. She married John in Toronto in 1949. They moved to Trenton, Ottawa and finally to Sudbury. Mary had been a member of the Catholic Women's League for over 56 years. She will be remembered as a loving and caring wife and mother. To my beloved husband and dear children, I have died. My pilgrimage is over. Please do not forget me. Remain together loving one another in peace and charity. We shall soon meet again through eternity. I have died but my friendship will not die. I shall love you in heaven as I loved you on earth. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 1250 Barrydowne Rd., Sudbury on Saturday, January 6th, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow at Civic Cemetery.
