WASHINGTON, Ga. - Mary Dillard Wright, 95, died Friday, October 20, at Wilkes Health Care Center in Washington. Mrs. Wright was a native of Wilkes County and was a retired Schoolteacher, having taught in McDuffie Co. and for 33 years in Wilkes County. She was the widow of John Goode Wright. Graveside services will be Monday, October 23, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Daniel-Bryant Cemetery in Philomath, Ga. Mrs. Wright is survived by one brother, Carlton Dillard, of Augusta and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Frances Dillard Nash, Lois Dillard Houston, and Helen Dillard Bradley and by two brothers, Jack Dillard and Ewing Dillard. The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Hopkins Funeral Home.
