WHITE Mrs. Mary D. White, age 84, died on Tuesday, June 1, 2004, in her home. A daughter of the late John and Amelia Stanis, she was born in Bridgeport where she was a lifelong resident before moving to Milford 7 years ago. Mrs. White was a technician for 15 years at the former Textron Lycoming of Stratford before her retirement. Mrs. White is survived by a son, Dennis White, and his wife, Barbara, of Stratford: two sisters Frances Marin of Stratford, and Beatrice Benedict and her husband, Stuart, of Cape Cod, Mass.; three grandchildren, Eric White, Mark Dixon and his wife, Denise, and William Dixon; five great-grandchildren, Heather, Patrick, Mark, Sean, and William Dixon. She was predeceased by her daughter, Carol Leo and a grandson, Jack Dixon. Funeral Services from the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street, On the Green, Milford, on Saturday, June 5, 2004, at 8 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Gabriel Church, Milford. Interment in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Friday from 4 to 8 p.m.
