MACDONALD-Mary Christine. November 24, 1918 August 3, 2005. Christine was predeceased by her parents, Reverend Dr. R.J. and Mary B. (MacFarlane) MacDonald; sister Helen (Harold) Anderson; and brother A. Hastie MacDonald of London, ON. She is survived by her sister-in-law Catherine; nieces Lesley (Gordon) Cameron (Ian, Heather and David) of Brockville, ON, Cathy (Paul) Hedley (Mark and Carolyn) of Union, ON, Margaret Anderson of Wayzata, MN; and nephew Douglas Anderson (Margaret Ann and Sandra Louise) of Winnipeg, MB. Special thanks are extended to friends who were so helpful and to those who expressed concern, and to the caregivers and friends in the VIP Personal Care Home. Christine served in the Saskatchewan Legislative Library from 1946 until 1982, latterly as Legislative Librarian. She very much valued her long association with the Saskatchewan Archives, having been on staff on a halftime basis during its initial period as the Archives Division of the Legislative Library, and finally as an ex-officio member of the Archives Board. A CELEBRATION OF Christine's life will be held at Regina Funeral Home, Hwy #1 East, Regina, SK on Friday, August 26, 2005 at 3:00 p.m. VISITATION will be held one hour prior to the service. If friends so desire, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association (Camp Easter Seal), 4420 Albert Street, Regina, SK S4S 6B4, or to a charity of one's choice.
